Neck Cover Installation Instructions

  1. Remove plastic covers in front of gas tank.
  2. Clean the surface where the neck cover will go and also the back of the neck cover itself with some kind of degreaser.
  3. They can be put in place with either double stick tape or velcro. (One or the other will be included with the order, not both.)
  4. Try putting them in place without the tape or velcro first to see how they fit. Placement of the tape or velcro is best in the triangle because it is the flattest location.
  5. Put the double stick tape or the velcro (whichever you use) to the bike first and then put the neck cover in place.
  6. Replace the plastic covers in front of the gas tank and they should overlap the new neck covers. You might need to do a small amount of trimming to the top right side of the plastic cover (depending on your installation.)
  7. The wire harness looks better on the left hand side if it is brought to the top of the plastic cover instead of going through the hole it is in now.
